The Ocean
The Ocean is the most important Earth's resource. Ocean produces 50-80% of the world's oxygen we breathe and absorbs about 30% of the human-induced CO2. Due to this characteristics, ocean slows down the increase of the greenhouse gas in atmosphere but unfortunately, with severe impacts on ocean acidification.
Ocean is critically undersampled and a scalable monitoring solution is needed!
The Solution
UNDERSEE 'FerryBox'
Continuous ocean data without sensor maintenance
UNDERSEE developed a small and light device that allows easy water data collect using a concept similar to the 'FerryBox' technology. This device can be placed both in vessels and fixed stations with automated measurements of water quality and real-time comunication of the data with a webapp.
